Last week I had my annual delivery of 20 large bags of well rotted horse manure. Over the last few days I have been sh*t shovelling the stuff over my veggie beds (in the warm winter sunshine). And today (in the warm winter sunshine) I have re-laid my drip irrigation pipes all over the veggie garden. All is now ship-shape and bristol fashion Saturday I am going to invest in 2 replacement plastic mini greenhouses and then....... IT'S SOWING TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I shall recycle the frames of the old mini greenhouses by laying them down and covering them with fleece to make some cloches/frames. Now it's "wine o'clock" ta rah!

It's a big shiny thing in the sky. If you see it, don't be afraid, it's rare, but, sometimes, only sometimes it pops out to surprise us.

It reached 14.2 today and its 10.3 now. Not quite Tshirt weather but I'm happy with that .

But I am very very very very lucky to be able to work in my little piece of heaven every day if I want to. I do appreciate living the life that I have here bearing in mind my age
