Strawberries are the only fruit with the seeds on the outside?

What fascinating facts do you wish to impart (not necessarily gardening related) that you've found out recently?

If you want to cool your house down with a fan, point it outside an open window or door.

Actually an earlier posting reminded me of something I realised recently. Towrag is the correct spelling not toerag. This is because it comes from the piece of cloth used to indicate that a tow rope on a tow path from a barge to a towing horse, is actually under tension and the horse is towing the barge. The rag picked up all the muck etc. from the tow path so hence the expression for a rather dirty scruffy unpleasant looking type. A towrag!

Farting is not a problem it's the follow through that causes embarassment.

If you get burned...add the % of burns to your age and if its more than 100 you are dead.

So if you are 99 you should not play with matches

OH! If you are 101 don't burn your finger then it could be fatal.
