    FUN- This song is not a rebel song

    Said Bono as he introduced "Sunday Bloody Sunday" to a packed Wembley stadium on Live Aid day.........

    So what other "rebel " songs do we know?. Songs that stick up for the downtroden, anti racist songs, anti war songs, anti bullying songs, lets hear them.

    Introduce your songs but please dont get into political arguments as we know it will be closed.

          Just my opinion, but, with the best will in the world somebody might post something offensive to others.
          perhaps we can stick to the "just for fun" threads.

                    Most stuff by Billy Bragg.
                    Most of my childhood was coloured by my Father, socialist, cnd, hippy, rebel.
                    Whenever I visited him we'd listen to all sorts of rebel songs in the car. I didn't realise they were at the time! He's Iranian and left after the revolution. So there were a lot of Iranian rebel songs too.
                    Happy Days, brilliant lyrics, it's good to rage against the machine once in a while
                    You may say I'm a dreamer... But I'm not the only one...
