Oh wow, so sorry Lisa, thats taken one heck of a hammering
whats the robot all about btw ?, looks a bit narky.
The OH makes robot things out of rubbish he finds!!! this is my gardening helper robot. He is working on his third. We have a 12 foot one in that back!!
I grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them
I do not know what i am going to do with all my pepper, chilli and tomatoes plants as they normally go in there and will be potted up in the next couple of weeks, then only get brought in if it get cold. The OH is struggling with his chemo and there is no way i can put a new cover on by myself.

(((Lisa))).
A thought ..............Can you put your plants on/under the shelves and cover those with the PT plastic to make mini PTs for them. Tie them down and use rocks to keep them in place.
Maybe bring the ones you value most indoors?
Oh no!! On the positive side, you have an excellent strong frame, thank goodness its still standing! The weathers so harsh I was thinking similar to VC could you flap some of the plastic over to make a mini tunnel for now? Or wrap some fleece around the shelving of seedlings if there's no space indoors? I hope the weathers a bit calmer now? If you have some bamboo sticks you could make mini frames with some thing wrapped around?
Do you have a spare, unheated room where you can put them, just until the high winds have gone. Once the wind has passed, you can set about covering them as and when you can for going back outside. Make sure the room isn't heated though or they will get very confused.
ETA: sorry, I should have sent hugs, I know how horrible it can be to loose plants that you have carefully nurtured.

I could also cry for you Lisa, it is soul destroying when things like that happen. Hope you can find help to put things right but I guess they are in the same situation. A project for Mr Lisa when he's feeling up to it.....................shelves under the windows...........
