Thank you everyone for all your suggestions and your kind thoughts, it has been uplifting. Wind has died down a bit, i am very surprised the internet and electric is still on. Not looking forward to tomorrow, meant to be one hell of a day.I grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them

Gutted for you Lisa....I bet you felt absolutely sick when you saw it.
I do hope that now the initial shock has passed you can find ways to salvage the bulk of your seedlings.
If only I had something profound or wise to tell you....but I'm completely stumped.
Between your OH's chemo and this rotten setback you must be feeling shattered.
But if good wishes are worth anything, know that you have all of mine. xxx

A basic cold frame can be made from an old window frame leant against a wall and sides filled in with whatever is available, even straw bales. Chin up Gal and take care!My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order
to present to him vegetables and all beautiful flowers.- Offerings of Thutmose III to Amon-Ra (1500 BCE)
