Lovely story Bramble!
Much love to everyone else who does and doesn't do Valentine's day!
I took the family out for a very windy afternoon at Felixstowe instead of watching the rugby..
..and I bought my long suffering life partner a £1 Easter egg..
Romance isn't dead!!
This morning whilst my wife was at the kitchen sink, i crept up on her and ( no , stop it tsk tsk ) said guess what i have for you here then ( with my hands behind my back).
After several guesses and then giving up, i promtly brought my hands to the fore and pointed at my good self , "Its meeeeeeeeeee" i yelled .
Her laughter was worth any 25 quid bunch of roses, we then popped out for some grub, happy days.
Valentines day as a day to celebrate though sucks , every day rocks when your in love.
My OH doesn't believe in valentines day so we didn't bother with it this year.
But saying that he don't believe in marriage either, but he already knows I'd like to get married and I will get my way with him haha
It's a leap year, you can get him on the 29th.. I know this because for the last three years I have been planning how to be really busy on the 29th February, just in case!
I thought it was 54 Years...................congrats Mr & Mrs B..............
