      Vixylix, by definition

"A SIPP allows YOU to manage your pension pot, including where to stash it and what to invest in, meaning you know exactly how much it'll cost."

we both have some pension savings while we worked in perm roles, now we are selfemployed or un -employed (me). so wanting to start saving into pension and manage it all by ourself.

Are you looking to transfer your existing pension pots or just start new contributions? Just be aware that some providers won't let you open an account without financial advice AND that the costs can be quite high - make sure you read all the charges thoroughly before you do anything. Most of the self-trade ones have high dealing charges

Sorry Elfeda but I'm going to have to close this thread. I understand it is illegal to offer financial advice unless you are an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). There are plenty of IFAs who will be happy to help you.
