Today a group of us were discussing the best ever inventions and discoveries.

As an older female my top 3 were:

Electricity. (I saw how much time was taken up with housework when I was a child with no mod cons)

Antibiotics. (Saved so many lives)

The Pill (freed women from lives of constant drudgery)

Ideas were varied depending on age and gender.
