No not a hold up, the bank to the left of my plot. Taken a number of weeks but today my new pumpkin bed emerged.

Looks like a lot of hard work. How did you get permission to extend your plot?

Technically I didn't need to Wendy, the boundary of my plot runs to the road on the site plan. The council are also pretty laid back as long as I haven't encroached on someone else. I did check first though

I'm seriously impressed though! I've seen pics of that last big root coming out but hadn't realised you did a full bed of them It certainly knocks that big 9-inch long lupin root from yesterday to size!
