I'm sorry, but I'm getting more and more confused!
You say 'fit a window' not 'fit a pane of glass'
And that it's a 'massive piece of glass'

This doesn't sound like any greenhouse I know of.

Greenhouse glass is thinner than standard glass and is therefore cheaper.
Because it's thinner glass it doesn't tend to come in large pieces as it's more likely to break as it's more fragile?
When you say 'window' are you meaning one which opens and closes or do you mean a fixed pane of glass?

I think we really do need a piccie to understand!
Is it made from old doors and windows etc?...cos then I'd understand your problem.
That being the case can you find an old window the same size?

Like Snadge says, just because you broke 1 pane there is no reason why you cannot replace it with 2 or 3 smaller more manageable panes using z clips.

Without the OP providing some meaningful information about the glass, its pointless trying to help. I'm going to answer the original question and leave it at that!

Dunno if it is a dying breed but I cant seem to find anyone to come out supply and fit a window on my greenhouse.

I might be confused here but I thought Ev's worked in a garden centre ? Most of them sell greenhouses & most have a notice board with the 'cards' of local tradespeople who undertake things such as erecting greenhouses, possibly I'm over-simplyfying

But you don't need to put one long sheet of glass in that. You can just use 2ft x2ft squares and use those window zig-zag things that join them up. I know cos that's what I used on my GH......there's no one worse than me at DIY and it was simple to fit.

Sorry, its a massive pane of glass, about 2 foot wide by 5 foot, i will get a pic on. I dont have the confidence to do it myself.
I broke the glass while I was moving it to a better location.

Yeah I do, we sell polycarbonate sheets, and metal greenhouses.
Mine is a wooden greenhouse I am approx on measurements as the guy who came out measured up. I will add a pic in the morning

I asked about today at work for a glazier and no one knew of anyone but no one did. Belive it or not more that half the people who work at my place dont like gardening let along know about greenhouses, which is worrying sometimes!

They are not in with z clips they are secured in with wood round the edges, but when you look there is no way to get the wood off without forcing it off?
