    No but i get a free taxi there and back,curtisey of the hospital,my sis has looked up buses ext,it's a good 1and a half hour each way,for a 2 hour visit slot,i have got a bus pass,but knowing me,i would get bloomin lost hehehe,silly old bat that i can be,

          I am sorry to hear of this news.

          My thoughts and prayers are with you both at this time. Remember to look after yourself too. Its good you have a good support network.

                  A nice quiet place,he was not to happy traveling,as he was laying down,all he could see was trees flashing past,oh dear,my taxi is now booked for the next week,afternoon visits,it's a 1/2 hour run each way,plus,i can take others in it with me,all from our address only,how marvelous is that eh,looking forward to seeing the place in daylight properly,the lost bag has been found in MY car boot,silly moo forgot my car was used derrrrr,love the tortoise lumpy,it did make me laugh,thank you,and thanks for the spelling VC,nighty night all,

                    Lottie, you could sit in the taxi, wearing a big hat and giving a regal wave to everyone. I've never heard of hospitals providing taxis before so I'm doubly impressed.

                        very little change overall,still confined to bed,speech no different,memory struggling on some things,he does feed himself of a fashion with the better arm,but reliant on the nursing for the rest,he seems brighter and awake when am there,so thats good,don't think i can visit tomoz,i have a stinking cold,not had 1 for years,so a good friend of his said they would go with or without me,man chats will gee him up,VC i sit in the front seat,then i can hear better what is said,that is,when i can disscifer what is being said in the first place ,lovely countyside to look at en rout.

                          It's gonna be a long road Lottie but you do right in taking some time out, after all it will be draining on you.

                            At least if you take the occaisional day out LD when you go the next time you will have more things to talk about with Mr LD - like what's on the box, how much his favourite biccies have gone up by etc. It might help give Mr LD a sense of the more normal (the being at home kind of conversation).

                            Either way old gal - look after yourself otherwise you will start to struggle with all the to-ing and fro - ing.

                            Will he be transfered closer to home or are thye looking at sorting out some kind of home support eventually for you both?

                              I have not seem him for 3 days,but have had updates from his visitors,apparently he looks well,and moving the limbs more,although i don't know if any more feeling he has has returned when touched,nurses say he is doing well,i doubt very much he will get a transfer,any way have heard excellent reports of where he is,i have been delivered a form ref height of bed,chair and loo,also have we a shower cubical,from what i read on the web site,and spoke with another wife a few days ago,there will be a care package,a long way yet,seems the seeds of things to come have started,BM i am forced to take time out,i think the shock and other very stressfull family issues,has run me down,fingers Xed for tomoz,there is only one way now,that's UP
