Shelle, you don't have to be an expert. Just posting what has happend to your crops or in your area can be a help to the rest of us. You don't have to start threads if you don't feel comfortable with it, although if you have questions to ask we will all be happy to help if we can. You can post a comment or question on any thread that interests you.

That is probably the best way to do it (unless you know of another way)

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

does it matter how many members we have. so long as this site works for us, thats all that matters.

We have 3000 members, but many who just come for a look, or stay a short while and are then lost to us.
It doesn't really matter - long term grape or visitor, as PW says, so long as you find the forum interesting, informative and fun (or any combination of these three) you are welcome.
I do think that the general informality of the Vine makes a lot of newcomers to veg growing feel at home and less intimidated about posting.
Anyway, another milestone reached - break out Rhubarb Schnapps !Rat
