Jennie, is there a quick way we can find out how many people have visited the site today (similar to the most users ever tagline). I know you can go to members list and sort according to last visit - Actually, sorry, thinking about you would have to be forever updating. That is probably the best way to do it (unless you know of another way)

I do it RL by clicking on last visit on the members list and going to the last page for today. I think that is the only way of doing it - but someone might be able to tell me

The most important thing is that the site does work for you. If there is anything you are less than impressed with, any ideas for improvement, then please pm either Jennie or myself. We have our imitators but nowhere can match the atmosphere we have here on the vine.

Doesn't matter at all, it's a brilliant site - I was just curious where the figures came from, specially as I put a post on encouraging one or two of our guests to sign up to put us up to the 3000.

We have 3000 members, but many who just come for a look, or stay a short while and are then lost to us.
It doesn't really matter - long term grape or visitor, as PW says, so long as you find the forum interesting, informative and fun (or any combination of these three) you are welcome.
I do think that the general informality of the Vine makes a lot of newcomers to veg growing feel at home and less intimidated about posting.
Anyway, another milestone reached - break out Rhubarb Schnapps !
