When you just can't grow enough!!

I am going to join a scheme to receive weekly deliveries of boxed organic / locally produced fruit and vegetables. There are a few of these companies popping up now and it really seems a good idea. My work (the Environment Agency) are arranging to have deliveries made to the office eliminating the minimum purchase. I thought other people might be interested in setting up similar schemes in their workplaces to help support local growers.

Elmo, I've subscribed to a local organic box scheme for about a year now and I am very pleased with the service and quality of the produce.

It is really heartening to see local producers/growers being used. As a consumer it is a pleasure to receive seasonal produce.
