Had a frantic phone call from my niece just now"Aunty, next doors cat has brought in a baby bird, can you help"
I rushed down(only two doors away)to find a tiny(I think) Magpie. No feathers, just the beginnings of them and cold, cold, cold.Put it down my capacious brassiere and thought"Well.if it dies,it will die in comfort"
I have given it glucose water from a tiny pipette and pushed boiled Quail egg and soaked breadcrumbs,in tiny amounts down his poor little gullet. To my surprise it is still alive and gaping.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated(and I know Magpies are a pest but!!??!!??)
