It's a worry for a lot of our staff who work in the admin field particularly regarding voice activated correspondence - especially when they get the spell check right!

Because of you all he has lots of responses, otherwise it would've just been a few of my friends and family so many thanks for your support and to this brilliant forum xxx

If he needs to run another survey I'm sure we'll all help out again.
I'm interested to know what conclusions he makes from the survey results and what happens next!

Done. (Space because the real answer is too small and needs 10 chars).

My son got 100 results for his survey which was exactly what he wanted but didn't actually expect to get, he has closed it now but asked me to say thank you again and to say he is very impressed with many of the answers he received, he says he didn't realise gardeners were also so interested and knowledgeable about technology. That's mainly because he's used to me and Mr V! The least techno types ever haha!

                                Just for your interest.

My son sent off loads of emails to scientists with questions about artificial intelligence. So far two have replied, the first one said we have nothing to fear because after all they will be designed to help us and will improve our lives. This made us feel better.

But the next reply said we have a lot to fear because they will end up doing many of the jobs normally done by us leaving lots of people out of work which will cause problems. Furthermore they will need lots of energy which will use up all our resources!

                                Not so reassuring!
