Good Morning All Gloomy with a strong wind here. I've lost almost all my runner beans to snugs and this morning it looks like they've started on the cabbage. It really is disheartening, I lost all my bras last year to them. I'm afraid I show them little mercy unless I'm near the compost bin and I'll happily throw them in there. The snails get launched to take their chances on the main road Have a good day

Morning all, beautiful warm sunny morning here! Car is going into the garage in Glasgow today for a half hour appointment to check what part they need so that they can carry out a recall repair which means on the way back I can pop into IKEA!
Oh SP, Rhyl can't be that bad, surely! Safe trip, you'll soon be back on your beautiful island.sigpic

Morning all - overcast here but the cloud is high. Breezy too. General pottering about to do today and aerobics this evening. That's going to be hard - didn't go at all last week - busy doing other things! So, onward and upward. Have a good day all.

Bright and breezy here. Catching up with past messages. SusieG, if anyone left me some cow's muck, I'd be right made up. Lottie Dolly, it's a difficult situation and probably hard for your husband to come to terms with. If the lotty gives you both pleasure, then I'd keep it. There's nothing like being outdoors to cheer a body up. And Florence Fennel, I was sorry to hear about your underwear. Those darned slugs get everywhere!
Anyway, all good here today. Hoping it's the same where you are and especially in Rhyl.Last edited by Snoop Puss; 01-06-2016, 10:46 AM.

Morning all. What a horrible day, second one on the bounce. I didn't do any gardening yesterday except to empty the water out of the trays that my hardening-off plants are standing in. Those plants will be well and truly hardened by the time the weather picks up!
In a bit I'm going to put some layers of clothing on, and a woolly hat, and go down the allotment to collect all the slugs and snails that will doubtless be enjoying the conditions. I may be some time...

Lovely morning here again..So great to get a few consecutive days of sun; makes everything and everyone much more positive....
There are some downsides tho...more watering to be done and lost some caulis that were in modules nearly ready to be planted out...not now alas baked is the word I'd useI dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....
...utterly nutterly
