Ah, Trip, and I was just rejoicing that I wouldn't have to water all the pots and tubs today, and my empty water butt is refilled....

After 5 hrs helping pack up a friend's garage/outhouse yesterday I can officially say....
5 hrs house clearing = 3 hrs digging in the garden!!!!
yup- aching in parts I'd forgotten about!
now comes the joy of going to the tip/charity shops today...hopefully we can get a swim* in later if we're up to it.
* for 'swim' read 10 lengths and then a lol around in the jaccuzi/spiral slide etc!
And yes- I am waaaay behind with the gardening- but flaming June has appeared under a blanket of drizzle.
Good timing I suppose? ( for me)
Have a great day peeps- see ya laterLast edited by Nicos; 01-06-2016, 11:54 AM."Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple

Afternoon all, not a nice day at all.
GG is holidaying in NWales with her other Nanna, just been sent photos of her cavorting around on the beach on her cossy. So glad she's got good weather for half term.
This afternoon, going to see one of our volunteers who has been in hospital nearly a month now. It's taken her all this time to want visitors.
Hubby has resumed the garden project, we now have no back fences, broken up and down the dump.
Has he contacted the fencer? Course not. And of course the fencer will not be able to do it immediately when he does get round to it.Nannys make memories

Well, I'm back and it was very reassuring having a commode in the car. I almost wanted to be stuck in traffic so that I could use it
Just to explain, its for my Mum!! She had a couple of falls and spent 2 weeks in hospital - discharged before Whitsun with carers in 3 times a day. Not all of the equipment has found its way there yet so picked up the commode and we're still waiting for the wheelchair. Basically, she's OK, nothing broken, but the falls shook her confidence. They'd shake mine too and I'm not 96.
Lottie, glad you've managed to get out and about with Mr LD. Sounds like he's improving - hope you're OK too.xx

Good evening,
Spent most of the day at the allotment with the OH. Manage to dig over 3 beds and planted out garlic and chilli peppers.
Also been to the garden centre and bought some celery and peas. Got the peas(12 plants) for £2. Only because there was no label to them.
Also come home to noticed I have caught a sun tanCarrie
