More bank holidays?!! Everyone seems to think Spain is always off on a bank holiday but to be honest I think we could do with more to catch up.

Have a good one, Tripmeup and anyone else getting an extra day off.

No plot for me today, I think. The house cannot be neglected any longer! Urk.

                            • Last weekend, someone on our 'allotment FB group' asked if anyone had any Jerusalem artichoke tubors, as they fancied growing them, I responded, as have been trying to get rid of mine! ( no chance). Offer accepted. I then went and dug some up, so I had them ready last weekend which was a holiday weekend, he missed my message, so twice this week, ive been waiting for him to come and collect!

They are still in carrier bag!! Aren't folks strange!

                              • Sorry to read of your loss NannySally. Life is so unfair at times with how soon loved ones can leave us. I do hope the funeral goes well to give your friend a good send off and some comfort to his friends and family.
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.
