  • Mornin n'all n'all
Looks like we have the shiny orange globe at the moment.

Actually it's quite exciting cos over the past 3 days we've been getting thunder. Maybe the odd flash of lightning out of nowhere...lovely hot sunshine(19C) yesterday, full storms with heavy rain and hailstones...oh and beautiful rainbows
Not easy for gardening, but nice to see nature doing it's 'thing'

        • Just had a look at our rhubarb, which we moved two weeks ago.
Well I never, this is pushing up new shoots at least 8 inches from the little crown. It must like it's new place, cause it didn't do much last year.
Happy days. We do love strawberry and rhubarb jam

              • Took youngest son shopping for dry goods for his new home that he is moving into a week on Saturday. I wanted to look at the gardening stuff but wasn't given the opportunity. Poooh!

                Other stuff next week.

Also had to go to the vet and get anti worm/flea treatment for the dogs. One of them is scratching for England. I've told them they aren't allowed pets but he obviously has ignored me.

                • Sorry about your "smashing" jam session Nicos. At least it was only one so you get to enjoy the other 5.

Got raised bed number 2 installed today after the rain cleared up. 2 down, 1 to go.

Bladdy aphids are out in force already on my rose bushes. Neighbour thought I was being very weird when it looked like I was painting the bushes with a brush. I was knocking the darned things off before they ruin all the new growth. Frogs will have a feast tonight I think.

Been watching my seeds but nothings come up yet. Perhaps 24 hours is pushing it a bit
