Just had a massive hailstorm!...why is it always so exciting? ( or is it just me who thinks that way?)

Having fun and games with the septic tank...5 loos and 3 showers not draining properly

Afternoon here too Lisa! Hello all...late to parade again today. It was beautiful but cold this morning but the sun has now disappeared. OH painting doors so I'm staying well out of the way! Why do people get so grumpy when decorating?

Afternoon all. I'm late to parade too Jay22 but, I am here. Beautiful, bright sunny morning, but clouding over now. Just going to get my 'scruffs' on and do a bit. Lovely cooked breakfast at 11.00 this morning - haven't had a proper fry up since the last time I had a fry up! Thank you son. A treat to say thank you for baby-sitting.

Just waiting to chow down on Sunday lunch with family, then it's on with the garden gear and out with the lawnmower - sun is still shining ...

Well, the day turned out lovely didn't it. Didn't get round to sowing any more carrots though.
Decided today was the day that I finally nail down this jaunt to Orlando with our Daughter and the lovely GG.
What a muck about, but it's all done now.Will have to whizz to the bank tomorrow to do a bit of money transferring. Not looking forward to that.
Still got park tickets and car hire to do another day

Good afternoon Folks, started off nice here then clouds moved in and rain before ten, just had a lazy day but will be out in the greenhouse shortly, and Jay I wonder who wanted the doors painted and decorating done, look at APs posts it just goes from one thing to another, My OH is on about finishing off a job that has been sitting since December, women have no patience, I will get round to finishing it some year

Its been a lovely day here mostly spend outdoors last job of the day was to erect the frame for my tall peas then plant the last of the broad beans.

Due to go on a tour of an olive oil mill today, followed by a scout about at our local olive oil fair that's on this weekend. Will definitely buy olives. Black Bajo Aragón olives, the best black table olives on offer in Spain. Might also buy a bunch of onion seedlings for planting out from one of the guys there. Good weather for onion planting coming up this week - damp!

Well, they didn't have any onions I fancied, only a variety that produces onions weighing in at getting on for a couple of kilos apiece. A bit daft really for kitchen use. Surprising how many people bought them.

The olives, on the other hand, are absolutely fantastic. Between us, me and a friend bought six tubs from one guy, each 800 g apiece. You'd think that would keep us going for a while, but they are altogether too moreish...

Right, I'd better get in here before it's tomorrow. Rary is spot on with decorating one bit leading to another. And another and yet another but thankfully it does all finish for a year or two .

I've managed to finish flooring the L shaped loft in our new house. Will be lining that with plasterboard next and then we will have a superb storage area. Getting prices first. Bought chipboard flooring from Jewsons which was about a quid a sheet more expensive than Q&B when using my trade card. Grrrh.

Never heed. Just made me a bit wary when buying other stuff.

The garden has such a crop of dandelions. I sprayed them with Verdone today but the lawns will need the full feed weed and mosskill treatment to clear them from there.

The silicone on the double glazing in the lounge was horribly yellowed. With a craft knife, a small screwdriver and some methylated spirits I've managed to clear it from the largest window but still one window to do. Tedious work but a great end result. Just got to practice with the silicone gun before re-doing it.

Bottom line though, I am really weary tonight. A nice glass of port calls

Evening all, you're doing well AP...you deserve that glass of port! Just for the record rary...it wasn't my idea to start decorating!
Absolutely freezing today so stayed inside and footered about doing nothing!

Mornin n'all n'everyone!

Only one more early ' Mornin!' From me for a while as we're off tomorrow to the UK for almost 2 weeks!
Totally off grid for part of the time too.
Really looking forward to helping our daughter and SIL with lambing, calving,kidding, bottle feeding, cooking, washing, food shopping....and just basically being a gofer.
Will try and get some piccies to share!

Busy day ahead packing etc...the usual pre hols chaos!

Will pop in when I can, so take care everyone ...can't believe it'll be May when we get back!

Morning All It's a bit chilly this morning, but clear and bright so that's ok. Been up since 5.15 (I remember Himself buying that record a long, long time ago and asking for "Quarter Past Five by The Who" ) and generally faffing about so only just got the chance to pop in before I start work.
Have a good trip Nicos and enjoy the time with your family. BTW the London Marathon's next week, you confused me yesterday! Have a good day All, see you later
