Good morning all a beautiful, sunny one, although still rather cool .... And very wet walking through the long, dew-soaked grass .......!

Going to give the runners a big feed and drink today - the flippin' bean frame keeps falling apart, so going to have to get some cable ties and lash it together - again..!! Just couldn't cope with all the wind it's been battered with over the last couple of weeks .....

Meeting my friend from work later, for coffee and cake ....

Morning everyone. I am back as I got my accounts to the accountants. Why is it all the invites come on one weekend? Last Friday my son and his girlfriend got their keys to their first home so went out Friday night to see the flat and to celebrate.
Saturday retirement luncheon of a friend, evening 60th birthday party of my good neighbour.
Sunday my nephew's two daughters were christened.
Monday the dreaded accounts went off.
Tuesday Hampton Court Flower Show., what a fanastic day, lots of flowers, walking and admiring. Loved the butterfly dome.
I am going to try to grow these glads next year.

I use my computer to get a translation when needed but they all seem to understand the word 'beer' so I've never really had any bother over many years of holidays down here :-)

I'm up to my earoles in jam for the 3rd day running. Today its strawberry, raspberry and redcurrant jam. Hope this one sets!
If you buy pectin for your jams best buy it quick. My local Morries has sold out and don't know when the next lot will be in.

Morning all, still dull here but not raining for a change. Having a lie in but heard the window cleaners ladder so dived up to unlock back gate and make sure Harry dog hadn't left him any pressies...my head is now spinning so going to have a sit down and a cuppa, if anyone wants to join me!
Son is taking me to the supermarket this afternoon as I can't drive yet...first I've been out in over a week. Who would have thought I would have been looking forward to supermarket shopping?!
Anyhoo, off to grab that cuppa, see you later.

Jay if it is still dry at your bit I could send you some rain, it started here at 11.0 and has been heavy at times, started to dead head the plants in my baskets, but it got too wet, will have to get back to it later.

Afternoon all

Just heard we have relatives coming to stay on Tuesday
* runs around in circles....

* don't panic Mr Mainwairing!!!

Yup....THAT is the dumping room for the whole house and overflow of the cellar
I have absolutely nowhere else to put it!.....hmmmm...so far I've managed to clear 2m square bit of floor space ...aka a route between the door and the bed.
Well, I'm presuming the bed is under the pile of car boot stuff

Hazel will be proud of me.....I've sent OH off with a boot full of books for I was keeping to reread (that's the 2m square space!). Good job the local charity shop takes English books!

Oh yes, and of course, it's a lovely sunny day out there....how typical is that?...ha!
