One of Mrs.BB's favourites when on holiday Vicky, it's the fruit of the cherimoya, soft pulp tastes a bit of vanilla & mango, seeds will be with VC next week I think 5 per pack should give a reasonable chance of getting a plant or two for anyone who fancies a try at something a bit different
ooh VC you might have to reserve me some - I have some to send to you when I have chance to sort them out on Wednesday.
Evening all. Seemed to of been busy all day dashing here there and everywhere. Been to allotment and managed to lay one new path and nearly finish another. Have used slabs from an area that had slabs on but were taking up to much room. My back and arms ache rather a lot now. Need to go down and try and finish off tomorrow. Just hope I have enough slabs to finish off.
Have a good evening everyone

Will they grow in the chilly north BB?
There are 32 packets of 5 seeds so I doubt they'll dissappear to quickly
Not sure how far north they grow Vicky, probably be good idea to start it as a pot plant in a conservatory if possible, but never say never my loony neighbour grew a banana tree to 7feet high outdoors

C gardener, not all mother in laws are to be dodged, they could be your best friend if you let them in
Absolutely . My OHs mil (my mum ) loves him as much as me and my brothers.
Mil doesn't think much of her only son let alone me. She comes to stay to fill her social calendar I'm afraid .
Difficult .
Jay, you wouldn't believe we live in the same country. we have shiney up here and a stiff breeze so I have a line of towels out .
Mind you, I was geared up to go do a grasscutting job earlier, it looked lovely and dry and then the heavens opened and everything was drenched in a few minutes . Hopefully it will dry up and I will get to it later in the day
Well the towels came in dry. I spent a few hours swapping the engine off an old sabo mower onto a john deere. The sabo was old but the engine wasn't and the engine on the JD was a sod to start after it was hot. Had to change the drive belt as well as it was perished and when I was finished, the replacement engine worked great but the mower was driving at low speed. Did my intended morning job with it but it was pedantic. I must have the belt round the jockey wheels wrong or summat else simple. I'll find out tomorrow what I did that was dopey
Morning me'n'all from a rather mild Nestland, just been sat outside with a coffee listening to the trees, they are alive with birdsong................as is next door's Cockerel. Anyways, the chooks are out so I'm heading off back to my nest for some more beauty sleep.............have a good one if I don't see you before.
