Nope. The paragraphs have gone and I don''t have smilies. The box I type my post in goes a very pale blue if it's of any relevance. I only can do 3 smilies as those are the only ones i know how to do manually.
Afternoon all. Well yet another nice and sunny day here at the moment. Didn't water last night as the heavens opened about 7ish. Think it will need watering today though.
Huh. Rain-hog - you could've sent some over to our side of the city!
Things happen in 3s they say, so after the window and wallet incident, we had a car accident to contend with
Daughter was in car with MIL and BIL and they were in a crash..Car is wrote off and they crashed though a fence post, hit a tree and broke it in half and missed a telephone pole by inches...Car ended up buried in a ditch not visible from the road; they were very lucky they weren't seriously hurt..As the fire brigade man said to me, they should do the Lotto this weekend...
On a more positive note, the wallet turned up yesterday and I hadn't cancelled cards as I was pretty sure (after retracing my steps and viewing some CCTV from a local shop) that it had to be at home somewhere...so one good point...
Never dull...
I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....
Oh Trip, what an awful bad run of luck youre having.
Thankfully, nobody lost their lives. Hopefully, your look has turned.
Glad youve got your wallet back.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
Good afternoon folks. Just popping in to say I went to the Seeds of Italy shop in Harrow today with Barlesugar - amazing place. Naturally I have told them all about the vine... it would have been rude not to
Glad your family are OK, Trip, though I expect they're all shaken by what happened.
I'm saying nothing about your wallet turning up at home..................but you can imagine what I'm thinking
Its a cloudy sunshiny day over by yer and I'm about to create a perennial broad bean bed - once I can make my mind up where to put it Just another nutty idea!
Hope you're all enjoying your Fridaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!
What are you using, gg? Laptop, ipad or some other gadget I don't understand?
Normal HP desktop pc I've always used on here. Windows 10/Chrome Browser. Nothing has changed at my end. This has only started since the site went down and I couldn't get on. Yet all other sites I use were fine so I don't think it's my end. Also when I'm logging in, my name will show up as it always does but my password wont. The box stays empty but I can log in anyway. There's loads of glitches here for me now. @Trip, glad it wasn't even more serious. Fingers crossed that's you and yours done for a while in the bad luck stakes now.
Good afternoon Folks, Trip someone must be looking after you, three family members coming out of a serious accident without major injury and finding your wallet intact, congratulations, glad you have such good reasons to be thankful.
VC how about putting your perennial broad bean bed in the garden, rather than in a bedroom. Have to go grandsons want to play hide and seek, they always find me, and I have tried hard to stay hidden
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.
Member of the Nutters Club but I think I am just there to make up the numbers
Anyway, we've just had a visit from a local shepherd (traditional - walks his sheep about). He says things are looking very grim in the village. The weather has ruined all the crops, so there will be very little money if any coming into people's households. Last year wasn't great either - a high price for almonds, but a small harvest. Young folk are already leaving, but no real jobs elsewhere. Who would be a farmer?
