Morning all! Well I am off today - going to walk 55 miles of Hadrian's Wall with my niece. Getting excited now House neighbours and allotment neighbours are going to make sure my tomatoes etc are kept nicely watered. Hoping to find some good Northumberland ales so that I can do the same! Back in a week.

Shen you should charge by the hour I have found that if you charge by the day you have them longerit may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

ps I also bought him crisps and juice as he was hungry and thirsty - turned out very hot here this afternoon.
PPS - I think he wants to move in as he is hinting his young brothers need a room each now and his room is too small in any case, whereas I have a large spare room which has plenty of room for a large TV, his xbox1 and all his other junk - should I emigrate or just move house?Last edited by Sheneval; 30-07-2016, 06:42 PM.Endeavour to have lived, so that when you die, even the undertaker will be sorry - Puddinghead Wilson's Diary

Just catching up on some of the posts, and wondering why Hazel did 4 1/2 miles, why not just run 2 miles in the one run
and CG why 2 1/2hrs. did you stop for a rest half way through your hours walk
Joking girls the both of you did a lot more than I could do now, and I must admit I am jealous, the one thing I do miss nowadays is the hill walkingit may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.
