Evening all. Been very warm here today.
Been to allotment and put down the last slabs. Nearly clicked my knee and my back a couple of times due to having advice and assistance from my two little helpers. Edge of the kids seating area needs tidying up but I was way too tired to do that today.

Good Evening All Work went down like a lead balloon - I had 400+ e-mails to deal with, despite leaving a very detailed OOO. So many staff off that I had to take the minutes of the main department meeting myself (not done that since my secretary days) so that will add another job to the numerous ones I've gone back to. Oh and the diet went well until I accidentally ate a piece of my homemade apple pie - I don't know how that happened. Back to normal then. Have a good evening

Daisy passed her MOT - phew! However the dentist bill was more painful than the treatment .....
Anyhoo, sun was out, 'stuff' all growing nicely ~ and it's nearly half-way through the week ................

Everybody is up because seven is having a bad night ( our bedroom is flipping hot, which won't be helping him ). We all get up, we come down stairs and guess who goes to sleep within minutes...........seven . I just love a dog with a sense of humour .
Going to see if there's any olympics on telly. See you all at a more civilised hour.

Morning all. Morning SP glad to see I'm not the only one kicking about so early. Have just put the kettle on if you fancy a brew.
I was awake by 4am. Seems to be my wake up time at the moment and I can't get back to sleep. Everyone else is out for the count but me . Will and OH are both snoring and Han is talking in her sleep.
Don't know what the plan of action is today. Mobile BBC app says it could hit 24c here today. Way to hot for me.
Have a good day everyone. Kettle is on got Douwe Egberts coffe, the decent stuff, and some and some decent tea bag in for a change if anyone fancies a cuppa

Had me coffee so dog walk next then parents for finishing the painting while OH takes mums car for service/mot to his mates, will take Kong toy stuffed with treats to leave olive at mums while I take her to see dad. They were moving him from elderly rehab ward to designated dementia ward last night which is supposed to have more day rooms, things to do and more staff (can't be any worse than where he was surely with no staff and a window to look out at a wall, no tv etc and everyone else asleep). He was bit grumpy yesterday ..don't think the serious heat in there helped!
No gardening done , back field has been cut for bales , could do with them cutting ours

I took my self off to bed at 4.45 (as it turned out I was the only one awake downstairs) got up at 6.30, which is 20 minutes late for letting chickens out. So they're all annoyed with me.
I'm still the only one awake downstairs. I have snoring in stereo from him and the dog!
Don't have a plan for today but it will involve playing outside.

Morning ladies, very early risers you lot today
Beautiful day out there, it's lovely isn't it
We are off to our daughters as she has a day surgery procedure. Taking her in and then looking after GG till her Mums ready to come home.
Once Mum is back and settled we will steal the little one away like lightening and keep her for at least one day, maybe two. Grandaughter time is precious this holidays, her other Nanny has been luring her away with caravan holidays and trips to Poland lol

Morning Folks, a nice warm sunny morning here, all the boy's go to school today the youngest starts school as well, will have time to do things I want, but I know I will miss having them about, and they gave me something to moan about, I will now have to wash the car by myself the youngest grandson loves helping me do that, well better go and see them off and get some photos of his first day going to school.
