I hope all the parents with children going to school tomorrow can letter them go without to many tears.
rary - Show reluctance? my daughter had No.2 in my car within 30 secs of my arrival at 0740 - after I put him on the bus and returned with the coffee, crossants and newspapers she ushered No.1 and the dog out of the door and into my car as soon as they were finished eating and had No.3 ready to take down herself immediately thereafter. By the time I returned with the dog just after 0900 she had already returned to the house and had a big smile on her face thinking of the day ahead with no kids

Morning all, dark and wet this morning but strangely not too chilly! Domestic duties call today as they have been rather neglected this past couple of weeks! Off to have a cuppa and get started!
Hope all the young uns going to school have a good day and I'm with you Scarlet, when my two went back I had the flags out!! Does that make me a cruel mother?
Have a great day everyone.
If Rary is not this months MOM, can I nominate him for next time?
His humour is fantastic, cheers me up no end, makes me laugh out loud.
Love to hear Mrs Rary's versions though
He he, yes. Mrs Rary must be someone very special - I'd love to hear what she thinks of it all
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.
Good afternoon Folks, still raining here though not cold, and this housework is a doddle, it was all finished before noon, and even got the bathroom cleaned down also, I even suggested that we do the bedroom, but for some reason she said no, I wonder why, we had plenty of time, and I did suggest we could move the bed and check it was in a better position, but the answer was NO, it was actually no way get lost, ah you try to help...... Well I have to go have to take one of the grandsons to the doctors, might see you later

I am sure your help was invaluable but am surprised you thought this would somehow entitle you to have an opinion - that reeks of sacrilege

Afternoon all. Have collected eldest child & come home with a mountain of letters from school. Children have been icing biscuits so the table is covered in icing & sprinkles, as are uniforms as aprons don't have sleeves! Loaded dishwasher one handed while talking to mum on phone.
Wondering how much dinner will get eaten as lots of biscuits have mysteriously vanished....
If you feel the need to do more housework rary feel free to visit. OH & I will applaud loudly & give you free rein to rearrange the half a ton of **** lurking around. We might even unlock the beer drawer in the fridge....
I am afraid HH you couldn't afford me, perfection costs a lot, and I don't think a beer drawer IN a fridge would be enough, but a fridge full of beer, mmmmmmm may be worth considering, a tall fridge, by the way

We must have got lucky today. The temp was up to 25 today so spent it outdoors weeding, tidying up the garden, trimming back the leaves from strawberry plants and taking runners. Sat here now in shorts and light top and its still incredibly warm.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
Oh YUK!! Just went to make some scones and discovered little crawlies in both the flour and sugar. Both were in Kilner Jars...how does that happen? Anyhoo every bit of flour and all the sugar are now in the bin. Cupboard suitably disinfected.I knew you could get crawlies in flour but sugar as well! Now I can't stop scratching.
