    • A lovely, warm sunny, glorious morning here.
Had a few rumblings of thunder and some light rain yesterday, but nothing like the flash-flooding reported just a few short miles down the road!!!
First time this year gone out without a coat - 'though poor Toby dog was rather hot'nbothered by the time we got back home ...!

All coming up well in the GH - seedlings loving these bright, warm long days....

BB, wow, what a blast from the past Andy 'thunderclap' Newman .... don't make 'em like that anymore ...!

Having a giggle imagining your dogs in puffer jackets and woollyhats

Morning All, its balmy here, as always though there was a lot of rain over night. Pleased to say my butt is full to overflowing i I need the next size up!
May pop out to W1lk0s to buy a couple of Wilko 4 Tier Mini Greenhouse at wilko.com
I need extra shelving in the seedling GH for the next load of plug plants.

Have a great day - hope its a sunshiny one

          • HI all, just popping in to check out some info on fig trees as I've a small one to get through winter. We had a light shower off and on all day, most rain we've had in months. Had a shocking year this year for growing. Several late frosts, dry as a chip. Most of the fruit trees have come through alive, but anything edible was stolen by the birds quick smart. Will have to net next season Have a few late season veg in, garlic to go in this week. Some seedling trees to get through winter - fingers x'd.
Daughter finished school last year - what a relief! Still have to teach her to drive
Son has a job at a new distillery to open shortly....d@mn council can't get themselves organised to give them their licences to open :/
Will have a quick look around to see what you're all up to, and catch you again sometime.

                  • Morning all, nice to see old faces back. Looks like it might be a nice day out. Going to, at long last, move remaining toms into bigger pots! Maybe put them outside for a while, they have been on a table near the back door, which is open quite a lot, so should be used to any cool air. Can't wait for warmer weather to get them out permanently.

Hope you all have a lovely day.

                    • Morning! Afternoon!

After a hellish week both dog then son (unexpectedly in his case) required surgery! I am sat here feeling strangely calm and relatively at ease today. Dog hopefully gets his big bandage off tomorrow and district nurse is changing son's dressing every day so all is well.

The sun is shining, it's not as cold as it was and I'm about to build a grow light frame from pvc pipe, shamelessly copied from all the versions of this already posted online from others who also balk at shelling out big bucks on ready made kits.

I hope you are all in good fettle today!

                      *waves to all*

                              • Not sure who's clever idea it was for me to spend hours in a boiling hot kitchen making a roast dinner on the hottest day of the year - not sure whether I am red from sunburn or from cooking ha ha. Putting feet up now

Hoping weather stays nice so I can do a load of planting tomorrow. Fingers crossed the thunder storms stay away.

Enjoy your evening whatever you're all up to
