Can you quieten it down with the smilies...ive got a sore head!
        Happy Anniversary Flo
I don't think I'm up to much today, mid week wine isn't such a good idea for me these days though it's looking good out there already.
Coffee and some sardines on toast will help.

          • Mornin n'all!
Yup Flo...I was up and about earlier( didn't want to disturb you )
Many congrats...hope you have a lovely day.

We have a Bank Holiday weekend ahead of us, so I'm hoping ,if the rain finally stops, I can get stuff done in the garden.

Fair bit of cleaning and ironing though to do today first.

            Anyone for a cuppa?

Planting out a couple of hundred onions or so, loads of cabbages and caulis, getting all my tomatoes, peppers, aubergines, lettuce and first courgettes in the ground, and sowing lots more peas, carrots and lettuce and finishing off a load of beds for ooh, just about everything else! I reckon I might even get my squash, melons and maybe a couple more courgettes going. Making sure my shallot and leek and other brassica seedlings still in modules are feeling well fed and coddled. Then, there are thousands upon thousands of weeds to deal with, if only to stop them setting seed.

                • Lovely sunny morning here and the temp is already 14deg. Have to collect grandaughter from school today but also hope to get some time in the garden. Have a good day all.

                  • Morning all, first of all wanted to say I didn't like your post Scarlet but only because sardines on toast for breakfast is just wrong!

Happy Anniversary Flo, hope you and Mr. Flo have a lovely day!

Dull and cool today, guess that's the end of the good weather. Woken at 6am with Harry dog having a screaming fit again, not sure if dogs can have nightmares but it's happened a few times since we lost Alfie and it's not nice I can tell you.,

Anyhoo, hope you all have a lovely day.

                    • Happy Friday everyone. No 2 son is coming over to spend the night, nice to have to supper together and catch up. Unfortunately I forgot that I have a hair appointment late this afternoon, so I shall have to abandon him to his own devices for a bit! No matter, I will leave out the ironing basket and ironing board Perhaps he will take the hint? I have always been foolishly optimistic about some things.

                        • Ah well I don't do any ironing as OH loves to do it (and does a much better job!) so I can't talk on that score. However, if I left the cooking to him we'd be in trouble and probably starve

Had busy few days. Feel like I'm going potty as just been spending hour after hour potting things on. I can't seem to get any faster at it takes blooming ages.

Weather was gorgeous yesterday. Today is like gale force 1 and thought PT was going to take off with me in it. I'm back to wearing jumpers as well. Funny weather.

Anyway TGIF FRRRRRRRRRRIIIIDAY - I'm doing a trip LOL. Hope everyone has good weekend
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.

                            • Happy anniversary Flo.
I don't seem to be able to get on here very often at the moment, what with decorators, landscapers and builders tramping in and out of the house, plus trying to actually get things done in the garden.
Every time one job is started, another one seems to rear its head. I'm thinking that by the time everythings done, the works going to cost nearly as much as the flippin house cost to buy.
At the end of the day though, it's our final move and dream house, so it will all be worth it in the end.
