Actually, I have to say that my forearms are aching like crazy after the mammoth weeding sesh I did over the past couple of days.
I still need to straighten the path edge a fair way....taking it back at least a foot into the lawn though.
Another time I think though as I have the 2nd side to do the whole process on again sometime in the near future ...* sigh!

Upside of yesterday is that OH finally got our spuds planted! Yey!

Grey with very flat light here today and a tad colder. No much planned for today as got to do my least favourite task.....shopping.

Why is it we have to do several complete circles of the store

I'm more of a serpentine sort of shopper GL.
Up one side of the isle, down the other til the list is complete ( plus the impulse purchases and bargains )

I make my final list by following the Isle contents in my head

I hate shopping , even more so with OH..he wanders, I lose him , he gets wound up that he can't find me .

Morning folks
Rain had overnight, not sure how much but things look damp.
The rescued tadpoles from the forest are still alive in my pond, they will be pleased with some rain water overnight. I fed them some spinach yesterday and they were nibbling it
I shall have to try getting a pic of them.
Also found I've mozzie larvae in a water butt (dunking butt), wonder if could scoop some and feed to tads
No plans as yet, we are off work woooooooo. (Bet OH does something work related)
I hope to continue seed sowing , potting on or something. I don't feel like weeding although there is one bed I want to change and mum has bought me 2 new azalea for there
Dog walk first, being *sighed* at...back later...

Son has to be at Dr's for 9am. It's 10 minutes away.

Son woke me up at 7.15am to make sure we'd get there on time.

Son will now suffer for this for the rest of the day.

I had little sleep last night so I could have cried when he woke me up. I'm now sitting here just waiting for time to pass. I am trying to be nice.

Mornings all It's our 14th wedding anniversary today and hubby bought me some new propogator trays to match up with the ones I had for Mother's Day - very excited about that as can get some more seeds sown in the PT soon. And we are off for a meal out at BellaItalia which is super rare. I've been browsing the menu already and drooling over what I could pick Really looking forward to it and so nice not to cook for once.

Hope everyone has a lovely day. Off to check my plants now.

Mr Snoop is the shopper in our household. I am indeed blessed!

Last time I went to a Tesco's store in the UK, I was flummoxed. How does anyone ever get out of those places? You could spend hours just looking at the hundreds of plain yoghurts, trying to decide which one to buy. I go to the weekly market or the little shops here. If I ever visit a largeish supermarket these days, I put my head down and scoot along behind Mr Snoop. Mind you, I do add things to the trolley as we proceed down the aisles. Last time I snuck in some chocolate wafer biscuits, counterbalanced by some packets of black beans and split peas. And I still remember, so just goes to show what an exciting life I lead!

Anyway, that's enough of what passes for banter in this house. Bright this morning but a thunderstorm due this afternoon. Apparently not much rain though.

Mornin' CG! Know just what you mean re losin OH when shopping, then gettin moaned at!!! Think it must be a bloke thing!! Enjoy your mooching/potting/sowing today. . Also know where you're coming from re the massive sighs and the death-stare eyes from pooch..!!! We got a good old soaking this morning - it's that plump, lazy rain - not lashing it down, but soaks you good 'n proper!
Show us yer tadpoles ...!!

It's a bit cooler too, just warming up after peeling off wet waterproofs, with another cuppa.


Hope seven is ok today, lots of doggy cuddles coming his way x
And let everyone else be fit and healthy ...
