            • I have frogs in the garden but as yet no pond. I bought a liner when it was on offer a few years ago but it's still waiting to be installed.

Hollie may be feeling sorry for herself but I now think she's putting it on as it didn't put her off her brekkie.

I don't lose people in supermarkets. I think it's a throwback to when I was a young mum and had to keep an eye on 2 children. Probably a woman thing Rary.

Been shopping during a lull in the rain. It's now chucking it down again. The weeds seem to have grown 2' overnight. Taking a break with a glass of merlot which I bought to go with my supper tonight. Oooops!

              • I lose my Mother in the supermarket. I think she does it deliberately
One day, I'm going to the Help Desk and ask them to announce that they have a lost child and will the Mother make her way to the front of the store....

                  • CG - your frogs are great..!! Well, with the amount of rain we've had here so far today, I'm surprised I haven't got a raft of ducks in my back garden pond ...!!!

Hollie's playing the sympathy card now, Janie (clever girl ) and with your rubbish nights sleep, a good glass of Merlot is just the tonic to help you glide through the rest of the afternoon/evening..!!!

Happy shopping, don't forget your lead/tracking device/reins (whichever applies) for OH ...

                        • Evenin all!

                          Very bitty day today.
Managed to get most of the shopping sorted for the week, letters posted, vet prescription repeated, flower buckets collected from 2 places...listened to a short but fierce mini tornado type squawl this afternoon wilst in L!dl....and blow me down with a feather....as I unpacked my bags 8 packets of seeds tumbled out.
                          Wonder how they got there?

Interesting to see a polytunnel blown across a road and into another field!
I'd have been heartbroken if that had been mine.

Many congrats Marie...ta for the pud

Hope everyone else and their pets are doing OK.
                          Thursday already tomorrow!....

                              • good evening Folks, it has been showers here all day with a temp. of 14c, congratulations Marie, glad you enjoyed your meal, it was a notable day for me also today, but one of my grandsons was a bit huffed as there was no cake or party, but as I told him once you come to a certain age it becomes just an other day, had to collect my oldest grandson from school, as he was feeling unwell, he had a sleep then came out to the greenhouse and spotted my strawberries, which he wanted to try, so told him to have one, its uncanny how children can find the biggest ripest fruits, there was one at the back of the plants that I had not seen but he found it, he then want on and tried some rocket and three different variety's of radish, and now I will have to wait for an other week or so before I can try them, but that`s what they are grown for, so that the grandchildren can eat clean uncontaminated vegetables .
Well I wish you all a good night, and hope you feel as if the sun is shining, what ever the weather, and one other thing, those special days, that become just an other day, seem to be coming round faster.
                                Goodnight
