Sleep well rary .Aww it's good those little 'uns get involved though .

Nasturtium , I've only known them to ramble climb and trail ...self seed..regrow . I may regret mine next yr. hehe.

Mmmmmm jam .,mine are always less set as add hardly any sugar. But then I don't grow fruit , buy it in...**laughing** I hate wasps so won't grow fruit. Neighbours now have fruit bushes aaagghhhhh.

Short but pelting downpour with thunder and hail (only pea-sized, thank goodness) late evening yesterday. Haven't looked at all the plants, but the ones closest to the house have survived OK. Haven't been to look at my brassica seedlings - still not planted out and a bit vulnerable.

On with the work but not long till play time: another garden blitz is planned for this weekend. The days aren't half shooting by. I'm already thinking about where I'll be putting the winter brassicas in and I haven't even started a real harvest yet!

Blue skies....birds singing....cat walking over face...what a wonderful start to the day!

If the rain keeps away guess where I'll be this afternoon?
Hope to sow radish, carrots,beetroot under fleece...finally!
Need to get some domestic chores done first ( sampling some of the jam might be a good start!) and perhaps get those geraniums from the nursery before they all go!
( yep, here, once they are gone they are gone!)

Dull, drizzly, mild and midgie.
Very boring job to do this morning. Replacing all the buttons on a king size quilt cover. But I will get paid for it so it's not all bad. Then I'm defrosting one of our freezers. I know how to live on the edge.

Have done the morning outdoor inspection, taddies swimming about possibly waiting for breakfast. The snail I lobbed from my salad planter to the pond returned back to the planter yucky things.....now lobbed into back field where hopefully a bird will find its breakfast, if it returns again it's going in the bin !
Grey and cloudy with heavy rain forecast from 3pm booooo.
OH out this morning so il be in the greenhouse potting on or sowing seeds .

The dog is looking less than impressed we havnt gone out yet.

Pssst Nicos want some geraniums you can have any type as long as they are zonal and any colour as long as they are red, I have 180 so you are welcome to some, you can have them for nothing just pay for transport I will bring the down to you.

Off to take No2 son to an exam in a while. Then it's cleaning the house and the plot this afternoon. Still haven't decided what to do about work, I have about a week left to make my mind up. Stay or go? Any ideas?
