Morning all...
Wet here now, but as I was up with the dawn birds to cycle into work I managed to beat the rain..Lovely morning for a cycle, so hopefully it will have cleared by evening time for the return trip..
Warm and damp weather has brought plenty of slugs out and they have already had a couple of my Pak Choi seedlings..grrr
Happy Anniversary Marie...I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

Rary hope you had a nice birthday yesterday Kids seem to make more of a fuss about birthdays than adults. I know on mine that my daughter was much more excited than I was. I don't really get excited about things like that - get more excited when I see seeds germinating LOL.
Had too much to eat yesterday and still full up. Think I will skip breakfast. Having a nice coffee instead. Got loads to get on with and sister arriving later to stay over. So all go.
Hope everyone has a great dayLOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.

Good morning all from a wet and rainy Dublin.
Its a special day in our family today as my grand daughter is being confirmed.
We will be off to the church shortly and then out for a family meal this evening.
Unfortunately the weather is not being very cooperative at the moment.
Have a good day all.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

Wendy am not sure of your dilemma , if work is stressing you out ?...then I'd say is it worth the stress.
Life's short , do what you would like to do.
Oh yes ...lets go see SP can help with the duvet ..not that I'd be any use
You can help me decide what I'm doing here on the way.
Dreading the wet coming , we've slugs n snails and its bone dry , could be an evening collection and snipping session tonight .
Hope the weather plays ball bramble, have a lovely day.
I'm stuffed now..poached eggs and crumpetsLast edited by Containergardener; 19-05-2016, 09:58 AM.Northern England.

Morning all, it's cold, wet and windy this morning. If I didn't know any better I'd swear it was winter!
Good luck with your decision making Wendy...you will make the one that's best for you.
Happy belated birthday rary...hope you had a great day.
Girls, you could swing by here on your way to Mull and pick me up, I love a pub lunch too! Do you think SP is worrying now?sigpic

Crumpets are dead easy to make, and good fun.
Trying to work out when it's safe to get the squashes and courgettes out.... they're sharing space in the grow house with chillies and time, and I'don't like to keep it warmer for them...
