Evening all. 13 minutes till tomorrow when I started this post but at least I've found a few minutes to have a minor catch up on here.

Still beavering away at new house. Between yesterday and today, I've removed a tiled fireplace and cleared the brickwork from the chamber (isn't it amazing how quickly one picks up the terminology) ready for the installation of a wood burning stove. Really mucky dusty job but its done. .

Morning All

Not a good nights sleep, been up since 4am. Probably based on the fact I spent last night trying to formulate a plan to deal with the new plot clearence and a 1001 things going on in my mind. Got a few chores to do this morning before i am allowed out to play!

Made use of the early hours my preparing the strimmer to do battle with the weeds and listed things to do in some kind of logical sequence, I doubt i will stick to it though.

Happy Friday everyone. Friday is still my favourite day for some reason, maybe because we normally take a trip to the garden centre. Could be something do to with the coffee and cake I guess looks sunny out the window so I shall probably need to water as well.

Have a great day all. Best go get sorted. Daughter is dressing up at school for some world day thing. There's always something going on.

Morning all, nice to hear from you AP. Had a rotten sleep last night, actually I don't think I did sleep! Very, very tired this morning so will be grumpy today so look out! Engineer for tumble dryer modification coming between 7.15 and 9am so couldn't even have a lie in.

Morning all, up early - again. Jet lag is calming down a little
Another day at the charity shop for me, keeps me busy and awake lol
Our crops are coming along really well, even my onions are growing well for a change. I dream of hanging them up in the garage in the winter lol

Morning the garden looks good after the rain downside it's bought out slugs but you can't have it all, I've planted plenty of lettuce so there should be enough to share.

Well, it was sunny when I got up but it's all big billowy grey clouds now. Harrumph!

Due to bring up water from the well today. Potatoes will be glad of a good dousing. And giving the carrots a good watering will at last spur me into weeding them.

I now have to attend to a cat who's yowling in my ear. She and the other cats are jealous of all the attention the dogs are currently getting. What they don't know is the dogs would rather not get this particular type of attention: tick removal.
