It's 5.09 on Saturday morning, why on earth am I up? Can't answer that, just had a rubbish nights' sleep so thought I'd just get up..!!!

Can't do anything though 'cos I'll wake the snoring beast!!!

Weather here is dull, windy and wet - don't know about temperature yet, as not ventured outside ...... Just having a brew - would you like one, or do you prefer a coffee?

Well...I've at least planned my day!
Few domestic chores, then off to get potting compost and hopefully about 50 red geraniums ( yep....I know......pelargoniums)
Collect car from garage.
Sow more seeds
Gardening for the rest of the day if the rain holds off.
Lovely start here weather wise so fingers crossed!

No socialising this weekend....need to crack on with urgent/ pressing 'stuff'

Sounds like a busy day, Nicos - hope your car is all sorted!!
Not got much planned, gardening wise, today - MIL and FIL coming over this morning, then we're all off out for lunch ( 'spect I'll have to force a glass of something red down ...!)

I want to sow my newly delivered cosmos and nasturtium seeds (in trays in GH) to give them a bit of a start before planting out. Looking forward to having some flowers in amongst my veg, it's a new thing for me and I'm very excited by it!!

Well, Nicos I've finished my cuppa now (hope yours was ok - milk/no sugar) and Toby dog is glaring at me - even though we're not usually out at this time - were up so 'come on Mum!!!'

Had breakfast, caught up on the vine, now wondering if I will manage to get the grass cut (Ummm Compost for the allotment Dalek) before the rain comes, then if still dry I feel a sowing spree in the offing.

Not my personal car...that's got to go in for major work before it's MOT equivalent in 2 weeks time!
This is the 'work horse' vehicle .Rusty old Disco. Yep, the guy didn't manage to get it done yesterday so today it is....hopefully!

It's tipping down here and not very warm. Not that it's a problem because it's change over day. Off to get some salad bags together then throw myself into the shower.

Had a little overnight rain but nothing to much, read three forecasts for today and all conflicting!

Bright and warm here this morning but quite a cool night.

Today's plans: peas at long last, earthing up potatoes and sowing sweetcorn, melons and squash (direct).

Tomorrow: sow kale and beetroot in modules and carrots and parsnips direct.

Here's wishing you and me all luck in getting our plans done.

Morning all, it looks like rain here. oH went cycling last night till 8.30 cos it was forecast rain this morning. It's not raining yet....where is my husband??! I'll give you a clue...his bike isn't here either!

I'm off out for coffee with a friend later, theres a nursery not far away that ive never visited. They are only open a few hours a week but I'm prepared this time. Thankfully the OH doesn't take his wallet cycling

To be honest it's looking pretty grim out there...I may also have a seed sowing spree. What to sow though?

Weather doesn't look very promising - think it might be a day for doing some sowing indoors. Still tired could do with more time in bed but no chance of that. I'll be tea lady today and brew everyone a cuppa Better get on ...
