Martin - As a short term fix, would it pay to have a switched isolator fitted to the car?

Nice idea, BM. I'll pass it on. The son in law is v technical so would be able to do it. I think he's more worried about losing stuff from the car rather than the machine itself, though.

Well...it's finally stopped raining!
What's everyone else up to today?
Ii'm nipping off to a couple of small vide greniers this morning with a friend- then back to the domestic chores I managed to ignore yesterday...and the day before....

First of all a couple of mugs of tea and a bowl of fresh fruit salad and live yog .
Hibou is demanding more food- her steroid injection has clearly given her the munchies!
( funnily enough it had that effect on me too yesterday)

I'm up ridiculously early because of jetlag. Might as well make the most of it and get down the allotment before the Sunday morning rush.

Coming back West to East, it takes me about a week to adjust to the 8 hour timeshift. Much more than going out there, for some reason.

Chooks loved my charred fruit cake( yup- it's the one I burnt a few weeks back! ...but the inside was edible )

I'm flipping frozzed now- it's colder than it looks out there!

Morning all, we had frost as well. Everything that needed it was covered up
Martin, just over 3 weeks until our Vegas fix. Normally takes me two or three weeks to stop waking up at 'casino time'
Got a very unexpected elderly Aunt visit tomorrow, so house cleaning HAS to be done. So it's washing on, get dressed, start cleaning and talk to you lot later

Don't know what happened yesterday! Site crashed, and wouldn't let me get back in, so gave up in the end.
