    • Evenin' all.
Had a glorious 2 and a half hours diggin before work this morning. A beautiful, mild, sunny morning
Even the sweet peppers in the GH are making an appearance, I'd totally given up on them. It's marvellous what a bit of sunshine can do!

      • Good evening Folks, it has been a dull cold day here today, I got my shelving finished and have sown some beetroot, carrot, radish and some lettuce into a box I had filled a couple of days ago, I emptied half a dozen baskets into an other one will let it settle and then plant some onion sets, I made up a couple of baskets which required about 28 plants each, so that gave me some space, but no sooner creat space and it is filled again, as I have quite a lot of plants to prick out or repot, the big problem with that isthe length of time I am standing, and when I go in the house I can feel OH watching me because I am draging my leg, I am waiting on comments about no need to go to the greenhouse, if my leg is that bad the garden can be left, but I enjoy the garden and my leg will get better.
Well I wish you all a good night and those Grapes with good weather enjoy it, I wish we had it too, just thinking I better not tell OH I like gardening as women usualy try to stop men enjoying them selves. Goodnight

        • Night rary...hope your leg is better soon!

As rary said it was dull and cold today. As soon as I think about putting awAy my boots and scarves it turns cold.

Out of ten pots with two courgette seeds in them I had two seeds germinate, one has died and the other one has given up the ghost. Toms and chillies are doing well. Carrots doing well too. Have planted some prairie fire seeds and some cucumbers...it says on the pack you can sow in April so I'm hoping its not too late. Don't know where I'm going to put these since I don't have a greenhouse I'm running out of window ledge. I will find somewhere.

Hope you all had a good day, especially those with sunshine. Off to bed now. Goodnight and see you tomorrow.

                    • Morning - what a difference a day makes.
Cloudy and nippy out there. Waiting for it to warm up a tad so that the tomatoes can go out and start hardening off
My knees hurt, hubby's hip hurts. That's when you know you've had a good day in the garden.
Now that all the buckets and dustbins are outside, the rest of our veg garden will start to take place. Will post pics when it all gets going
                      Have a lovely day all

                      • Morning all...

                        It's FRIDA..................no wait, it's not

Well, it kind of is for me as I am not in work tomorrow but will be busy keeping an eye on mails and doing school runs, breakfasts, dinners etc as herself is away with her Mum for a few days...
Have also been told 6 year old daughter has a play date tomorrow, and a birthday party to attend on both Sat & Sun, so lots of running around etc...She has a better social life than I do

This morning was the first morning in a while I cycled into work, so was nice to be cycling in the light rather than murky darkness..

                        Have a good one
I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

                        ...utterly nutterly

Pretty dowdy here this morning, overcast and grey. A good day for hitting the greenhouse and potting on what needs potting on i think.
Docs first though, probably be there for an hour o so for a a 5 ninute blood pressure check, ah well.
                            Have a good day all

                            • Morning all from a dull and grey Dublin. No gardening this morning as I am off to the hairdressers to have my highlights done. Hopefully I will get to the greenhouse this afternoon.
                              Have a good day all.

                              • Morning all, dull here today too but at least it's dry! Enjoy your trip to the hairdressers bramble, I'm sure you will look fabulous for the greenhouse this afternoon!
Off to do some housework and then ironing...loads of it as its the job I hate most. Instead of doing a little at a time I put it off for ages and end up with a huge pile!

                                Have a great day all.
