Morning all, no snow here . A friend who lives in Evesham posted a video of it falling and I thought he was joking. Obviously not.
The log in thing is still going on, but not only on The Vine. So it's this darn iPad. Spent a day of changing passwords yesterday, very frustrating, but at least they are all the same ish.
Boy, did we have some rain yesterday. The tomatoes were out there for a bit, but got brought in after a couple of hours.
No gardening for me this weekend, hubby is in charge of spuds and is on frost watch and earthing up. Watering not necessary after all that rain
I have erected a plastic 'tent' over the tub with the salad stuff in. Hoping to warm the soil a bit. Not a chance at the moment
Will pop in this evening, have a lovely day folks
Have a great weekend all, whatever the weather!
It's cold, dull and been raining - stopped for now ...
Just heading out to GH clutching various seed packets and a few pots of chillis/toms that need potting on.

How can a 3 year old car with 6,000 miles on the clock fail its MOT..........................ah well, it was only a headlamp alignment so for a total of £28 thanks to Gr0up0n it was still half price.....................wrap up if you're going out & have a good one.

Mornig all. Dry and sunny here but so very cold. Off to play pitch and putt later. A double round competition today so I expect I will be frozen by the time its finished.
Have a good day all.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
Ti's a second good morning from MOM,had a few words in an ear hum hum,and went back to bed, glad you got the car sorted out BM,bright sunny shine here now,and no time to play, not everyone can boast both playing in the snow, then sunshine in the same morning, enjoy yourselves,

Sorted out the iPad problem, I had somehow turned on 'private viewing' what's that all about?
Anyway, I googled and got my answers and sorted it.
My Vine log in is back to its seamless self
Was going to say morning all then I realised it was afternoon! Have had a lazy morning and now going to have another cuppa before getting started. No snow here it's just a beautiful morning, sun is shining but it is cold!
Got our quote for a new boiler. No major work needed pipes etc are fine so it will basically be old boiler out new in with the addition of 'the Hive' wireless system to enable us to turn heating off via our phones...who new! Cost...only...£3,200 Labour costs are more than th boiler!
Anyhoo hope you all have a great day snow and all.
Good afternoon, still chilly and dull BUT not raining!!
Potted on my orange hab and ancho chillis and rearranged them on bedroom windowsill.
Sowed sweet corn into toilet roll inserts. Sowed pumpkin rouge via d'Etampes and runner bean Prizewinner.
Hoed over the one bed that I'd dug first and had added the compost to, then forked in some Growmore that I'd purchased a few weeks ago. So quite a productive morning!
Just waiting for it to warm up now so I can get stuff planted out...

After a freezing but sunny afternoon (with hail showers in between), it's now raining. Never mind, I've had a lovely day potting on and pottering. Monty certainly knows how to fill rootrainers with ease, wish I'd got a compost pile like that, I have a nightmare filling mine.
