Will walk dog shortly, mil moving about upstairs. Really hope she heads home today, we are feeling suffocated.
Plan is to have bite to eat, shower and text mum. She is having her hair done so think il go meet her for cuppa at garden centre while my dads at his day care club.

Flo...yep...apparently they were doing a half marathon yesterday as final preparation.

Morning girls'n'all from a cold but calm Nestland, not sure what's in store today, will just have to wing it and see where it takes me, I won't remember anyway..........Have a safe journey Nic & enjoy your 2 weeks, hope the sun shines for you. Anyway, I've been up since 6 & this ape needs more beauty sleep so I'll bid you all a good day till later on.

Oh yes and just remembered , whilst hiding from mil in the greenhouse. I think I saw the spotted flycatcher. We had a pair last yr, need to look for a bird box. They tried to build a nest on ledge of old bird feeder last yr.

Jay, you wouldn't believe we live in the same country. we have shiney up here and a stiff breeze so I have a line of towels out .

Mind you, I was geared up to go do a grasscutting job earlier, it looked lovely and dry and then the heavens opened and everything was drenched in a few minutes . Hopefully it will dry up and I will get to it later in the day

morning everyone, woke up to bright blue skies. Clouding over a bit now, but I think we are in for a fair day.
Washings in the machine, tomatoes are sunbathing, potatoes all checked, and I gave more seeds germinating in the salad trough. Been putting a big clear bin bag over it, think that has helped warm the soil.
Might be carrots come up, time will tell
Got a loaf baking in th machine, so house smells lovely.
Work later on, so will call in tonight

Morning everyone,

That was a horrible night for me, kept waking up with my sore very itchy eyes. Driving me mad, so swollen this morning. I have to do lots of jobs outside today so will be just as bad if not worse tonight meh.

Morning all still bl@@dy freezing out there, my grass was frosted again this morning. It was too cold for the boys to carry my plants up before they went to school...good job OH works from home 2 trips with the wheelbarrow and he was done! Don't know what all the complaining was about.

Son#1s driving test on Thursday ....there will be one very miserable kid and one Cheshire cat if he doesn't pass. Please everyone cross their fingers, there may be war here if he doesn't. Twins are so competitive

Morning all! Grey but cool and dry. I have a grand-daughter free day today! So, I have been to slimming club - have lost some of the excess I gained in Italy - still a couple of pounds to go, but that's OK. I am now off out to get a birthday card for Mum (I'll pop down the road so I can combine that with a visit to our very expensive but lovely local Garden Centre). Then I am off to the plot for a few hours. Might be able to get the final beds forked over This evening, if I have the energy I shall go to aerobics. Or I may just collapse in a soggy heap.

Sat here twiddling my thumbs waiting for vet to call with news of mutt's op. Can't concentrate on much at the moment so kinda glad it's cold and damp outside and not really weather for doing stuff.

Sun is trying hard mind, so maybe I might just get something done in the afternoon.
