        • Morning again'n'all, feeling better for my extra beauty sleep. Still bladdy cold out there, had a mosey down't garden & checked on some Courgettes I planted out yesterday under a makeshift clochy thing, they gave me the thumbs up so all's well in the world.

                    • And Hibou has had her second low release antibiotic injection .All safe to leave her with friends to look after her eye...phew!
(I would have put a wink smiley in there- but it'd look too much like I was taking the pi$$ out of hibou ...see??? )

GG- hope your puss is fine.

Now to concentrate on packing and a quick tidy up so the place looks less of a pig sty ( all my mess apparently! ))

Lisa- is that hayfever you have?
I had it quite badly a few weeks back with the hazel tree pollen.
Hope it improves quickly- whatever the cause.

One of Mrs.BB's favourites when on holiday Vicky, it's the fruit of the cherimoya, soft pulp tastes a bit of vanilla & mango, seeds will be with VC next week I think 5 per pack should give a reasonable chance of getting a plant or two for anyone who fancies a try at something a bit different

                          • Evening all,

Where did that time go ??
Think it was Thursday night when I was last on here

Busy weekend for me with herself being away. In addition to minding the kids and feeding and ferrying them here and there, I got the lawns mowed in between the rain. Also did some more sowing and potting on. Running out of indoors room, so more and more tomatoes are getting put in the greenhouses now..If it is looking like frost, then some fleece covering will have to do for them...

                            Enjoy your trip Nicos

                            Well done on PB Hazel

                            ...utterly nutterly

Got 3 broccoli seeds coming up now but nothing else as yet. Hope I haven't killed everything off before I've even started.

Daughter had Egyptian day today at school and I put together some outfits. Here she is with OH who was helping out all day at school:

Last year I bought loads of gardening mags but there was a big pile I never got round to reading. Now every time I go for soak in bath, I take one with me to read then dump in recycle bin so pile is getting smaller. Glad I saved them as most of the info is still relevant.

LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.

Thank you, but he's offended you called him a puss. I personally think it's close to the mark mind, as it rhymes with wuss, which describes him perfectly.

He's a 9 yr old lab (pic on here previously somewhere) and he's just home from the vet's minus his bits. He also has a few holes here and there where other things were removed and we just need to wait for biopsy results now. Fingers crossed on that score.

He hates me right now for taking him there and letting them do things to him. I can tell by the way he's looking at me. I have no doubt food will help him get over that though. He's easily bought via any kind of edible currency.
