Time to get up, the sun is shining! Woke with a positive attitude this morning so its off over the allotment with me. Might manage a bacon sandwich first though
Good morning all, nice and sunny again, was pleased with what i done inside the potting shed yesterday, even pulled in 40 or so winks when i got home, scan all done, awaiting results, patient coming on slow but sure,he responds lovely when his friends visit, showing how the limb is coming on,no other news on that front,it would be nice to have a little time alone with MR.
Hoping to do some home garden work this morning, got beds to clear off last years old growth, have a nice day all in the sunshine.
sigpicAnother nutter ,wife, mother, nan and nanan, love my growing places, seed collection and sharing, also one of these
Encouraging news, Lottie Hope you enjoy some time in the garden today.
Cold but sunny this morning. Noticed a ton of aphids on my lupins yesterday so might need to deal with that today before plants are ruined. Will dust them off over frog ponds and maybe tadpoles will enjoy a munch
Nothing planned today so chillaxing this morning. Feels more like a crisp winter morning than spring day. Hope everyone has good weekend.
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.
Its Sunny Saturday
Good to start the day with GL and Lottie's positive posts - ooops, and Marie's whoposted while I was thinking!
Have a luvly day everyone - I'm going to play with my begonias
Morning all, it's a beautiful sunny morning here. Off out later to have a wander round the shops in the city with my friend before dinner tonight with our OH's. Looking forward to it.
Good news in the MR front lottie, enjoy the garden today.
Morning all - lovely blue skies here. The lawn is mowed -YES! (runs around in a circle punching the air like a maniac).
Had a super day yesterday with DiL at Manchester Museum, birthday treat for her, treat treat for me.We now know a great deal about Queen Hatshepsut
So today - leg in a pant and get down to the supermarket. Then off to the plot to do some planting, then back here to do some housework. FiL is coming for his lunch tomorrow - shingles have apparently cleared up. Grand-daughter free day again on Monday - what shall I do? Probably some garden work here. Have a lovely weekend whatever your plans are.
Lots of tomatoes and chillies to pot on today...
New shelf to be put upon one greenhouse, power to be brought to another one and one damaged by wind needs to be fixed up..
I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....
Not been around for a few days as tablet packed up and have been waiting for new one to arrive.
Lovely morning here, sunny, but haven't poked my nose outside as yet, could be chilly
I am going to finish treating the pergola with creosote substitute, a job I have been putting off, not much more to do, hurray! Then who knows what delights await.
Morning everyone'n'all, have you noticed how quiet it is around here these last few days, it's as if someone is missing, not that she's noisy you understand.................anyways, less of my waffling, it's sunny but chilly, I've got a mountain of chippings steaming at me, it's a long time since anything has steamed at me............have a lovely sunny day, must find the shovel & wheelbarrow.

Made the most of yesterday, managed to mow the front 'lawn' after work as was expecting to be thrown at us: hail/rain/snow /frost etc etc ... today. (Lawn is used here loosely, as it's more like a patch of thistles/brambles/nettles..!!)
So far though, woke up to a bit of a light frost and SUN!
Haven't much time for anything gardenish this a.m. as meeting up with inlaws for lunch later ...
(hoping to shake this mother of headaches before then: way too much liquor consumed last night during a mega Prince session ...... (still can't believe he's gone ...)
