  • Morning all..

We had a bit of frost this morning but sun is shining and it looks nice when looking out...
Potted on lots of chillies last night as it was too cold to do anything outdoors...
    have a good one........
I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

    • Morning the garden looked pretty and sparkly early on but now the suns melted it all away. We had a fair bit of snow yesterday it didn't stay for long bit it does seem odd thinking of sowing seeds when it still feels this wintry.

      • Morning all, like everyone else it's a lovely sunny start to the day but it's cold!! Got a shock when I went to let Harry dog out befor bed and there was a humongous fox in the back garden...don't know who got the biggest fright! We are surrounded by 2 metre fences with no gaps so can only assume he jumped over. Harry's only little and old so nervous now letting him out. OH says a fox wouldn't attack a dog but...!
A day of housework and also have to call H@tp@int as my 7month old washing machine is making strange noises when spinning and sometimes doesn't get that far as it doesn't move passed the last minute of the wash cycle...just keeps going.
Anyhoo, hope you all have a lovely day. Hope you're feeling ok CG!

        • Morning!

Good luck with the washing machine... we had our first for 16 yrs, but don't expect the same from this one.

Brrrrr. Woke up to snow. Not lying, but big thick flakes falling for half an hour or so...!

Frost first thing, then bright sunshine while I was doing the domestics, now clouded over, ho hum

Not posted seeds to VC yet as waiting results on germination test of the tom's, will be adding cucumber (Negrito) to the package germination was fast with 5 of 6 showing they are cylindrical fruit but only grow to 8" long so ideal for singles/couples who don't want a full length variety.

            • I'm sure there's a suitable reply, BB, but I might have to ban myself
Look forward to the cucumbers, whatever length they are
