Our house only has windows on the east side, shaded in the early hours and pretty chilly. I grow very leggy seedlings.... sighs.

Need to get them out in the grow house, but far too cold so far.

Morning all, cold dull and sleety this morning. Off to get rid of that streak of grey which somehow appears at the top of my head every 6 weeks or so! Hope all the plants survived the cold night.

Morning all,I totally agree with the weather,sun at this moment,door now fixed,must phone the emergency man and cancel tomorrows appointment,thank you for the continuing support friends,hope you cought up with that b fairy BM,and thanks FF,am looking forwards to her arrival later today and get something in place,RARY what you playing at now lad,you do make us laugh.i was hardly off the phone yesterday AM it was all very nesessary,am hoping to pop down the lottie shortly,just for a nose at how things are,realized last night i had planted some beans and things a few days ago whoops,then it's see how clever the vacume and duster are,look in later

Morning all, especially Rary. Thanks for the advice on the potatoes. I never use grinders, chainsaws or the like, but I'll think of you when I next get my Mantis out. A cautionary tale if ever there was one.

As for me, well it rained overnight. Only about 15 mm but somehow it seems to have been mud-making rain. With any luck, it'll be OK for me to dig next week. Still got my tomato and aubergine and pepper beds to go... No gardening today, I think, as it's too wet underfoot and the skies suggest more rain to come. And I've already got my socks and slippers wet just going out to let the chickens loose. Now what will I wear for the rest of the day?

Morning all. Its a dull morning here with light hazy rain and cold with it. Think it will be work in the greenhouse for me today. Some Kelsae onions and tomatoes need potting on also some of my dahlias are outgrowing their pots, so plenty to keep me going undercover.
