The hordes have departed. Good times but lots of cooking and washing-up. Mr Snoop says he'll do the last round of dishes this afternoon.
As they were leaving, a friend turned up on his tractor. He ploughed up the field that had had the weeds chopped up a few days back, so absolutely perfect timing. He also removed the cherry trees that drowned in flooding last year. And he ploughed the beds that I was going to have to dig this week. All told, brilliant.
Time to start a blog, I think.

Ha ha, love the clarification on dancing around poles VC Just in case we wondered if you meant something quite different!
Today is a great start to the month. Windy but sunny and warm. Almost as warm outdoors as was in. Repotted leeks, tomatoes and broccoli. Sowed loads of winter squash and marrow. Very productive day - my nails are totally ruined and still trying to get the dirt out but worth it. Nothing beats sitting out on a sunny Sunday and pottering in the garden in peace.
Hope everyone's having a great dayLOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.

A very Good Morning from me too
Wet, 'n windy here. Sun is having a fight with the clouds, so could be a mixture ...
Off out with impatient Toby dog, across a rather moist field now .. COME ON SUN! Doesn't the weather know it's officially Spring???
Anyway, have a good Bank Hol Monday dodging the rain!~~~ Gardening is medicine that does not need

Morning everyone.
Been quite distracted lately with doggy health issues so haven't been doing much else really. He's going back in today to get a nasty lump thing removed from his paw so he will be confined to barracks for some time afterwards to let it heal.
Could we all have a group 'pray for sun' session please? Now is a perfect time for me to be able to plant things whilst he just sits beside me on a rug in the garden.
Hope your day goes as you would wish.
