It's a bank holiday in the area where I live but not in places where I have clients. So it's a normal working day for me. Shame as it's a very bright morning and I can think of plenty of gardening jobs to do, not least of which is go and rake over the areas where JT ploughed in my winter veg patch. Sometimes I feel very lucky! I now have very grand plans for what we call 'field two'.
Well I can report it's horrific out there
Hmm something keeps banging on the decking, either arch is about to collapse or pot about to topple over. Best go check ...
....2 glazed pots toppled, saw 2 huge snails on a trough ewwww.
Morning all - cloudy but dry at the moment although the forecast says that is set to change. So, when it is raining later I shall make a start on tidying out the garage (which doubles as a potting shed) and will also sow some sweetcorn and lettuce. And I need to pot on some cukes, caulis, courgettes and squash. Theoretically, it will stop raining later this afternoon and then I have to don my walking boots and cag and get out there for a brisk tramp! No aerobics tonight as it is Bank Holiday.
So ... enough procrastination; time to get on with it. Enjoy your day even if you do have to work Snoop.
Morning everyone'n'all from a murky but mild Nestland, I've already done a couple of hours graft while you lot have been debating what to do..........................just having some toast & coffee then back out, got a load of bedding plants that need a home.......have a good one.

Morning all I knew the weather would be duff because it's a bank holiday and I can count the number of sunny and dry bank hols we've ever had here on one hand. It is dry but very cloudy/windy and weather thingy says rain later.
Never mind. Plus side is it's not school so am still sitting in PJs rather than scrambling to get dressed. I love lazy mornings. Not sure what to do today but will likely be an indoor jobbie whatever. Have good day all.
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.
Ahh hope your doggy gets better soon gardening gal. Good news is weather is supposed to get warmer this week so might be nice for him recuperating while sitting out with you.

Happy Monday everyone - especially those enjoying an extra day off work
Weather looks a bit iffy but never mind, its not wetty like yesterday!
GG, hope your doggy's paw soon heals. Its always a worry when they need an op.
I've been watching a Great Tit, shredding a lump of Bessie's fur for its nest. I have to add that Bess wasn't wearing it at the time
Have a good day Grapeys
Morning everyone'n'all, Happy Sunday from a fairly pleasant Nestland, everything looks in order at the mo. Not sure what's in store today apart from watching Leicester win the Premier League for the first time in their history and I can't think of a better place to do it than Old Trafford............have a good one.
Oops ......
I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....
Having a relaxing morning so far as I was late home last night after a nice few creamy pints of Guinness last night
Had an enjoyable day yesterday and also got the last of my tomatoes out of the house..Now to see where I am going to fit them all in the greenhouses

Are 'grapes' potting up their tomatoes into final pots yet? Some of mine are getting quite big, still in protection of plastic greenhouse, cos it is still cold especially at night.
Dotty, mine aren't big enough for final potting stage yet!
Come on sun, need you to come out to play
It's just been lashing it down with rain here, not been able to get anything outdoorsy done today ... Typical Brit Bank hol Monday !!!
