Evenin' all folks!
It's been a proper north/south divide, weather wise today, I feel!
It's been cold, windy and darned well hammering it down all day here!!!in fact it's only just now stopped..!!!
I had to do a pretty nifty 50yard dash to GH to avoid a drenching .....!!!!
Even Toby dog wasn't interested in going out
Enjoy your summer all you lucky folks North of the border~~~ Gardening is medicine that does not need
a prescription ... And with no limit on dosage.

I'm grateful for the rain, my butts were empty after last weeks heatwave..................sigpic“Gorillas are very intelligent, but they don't have to be as delicate as chimps -- they can just smash open the termite nest,”

Evening
Another late work day, just had tea
No rain here, very warm again..no complaints although we had to perform 'tadpole rescue' tonight , we've been watching the spawn in a puddle for ages, now tadpoles and we've had no rain which has dried everything out. So tonight was last chance to help, off with out tubs scooping them with mud , carrying round to other large pond and setting them free, brought some back for my pond . Couldn't help them all as must've been thousands
Hoping they survive, certainly looked happy to have some water again.Northern England.

Hiya Lottie. Hope all is going well for you both. Sleep is a great healer - so off you go and have some more "medicine". Sleep well!
My little story is about this afternoon's trip to a £ shop. Obviously, I was in the gardening aisle, looking for bargains. There was a man standing in the centre of the aisle, tapping away on his mobile phone. Beside him, on the floor, was a pile of upturned hanging baskets.
I squeezed past the man, not wanting to disturb him, but, as I wriggled past there was a clattering noise and the hanging baskets fell over. Somehow, the hook on the top basket had caught on the pocket of my coat. As I walked, I was dragging them along behind me
The man had to unhook me from the baskets.Made us both laugh
Hope you've all had a good laugh at summat today!
