Good evening all. Me and hubby spent the last four days in Donegal celebrating both our birthdays. Beautiful wall to wall sunshine with the temp reaching 26deg on Monday. Never saw a drop of rain until we turned the car for home today.

Lucky you Bramble..
Wasn't so good further south I'm afraid..
Weather forecast is better for next few days, so am going to cycle to work tomorrow...and home obviously..that'll be 80k done so should keep me ticking over...
Haven't been getting any gardening time, so am hoping all my chilli and toms and other bits don't mind the neglect...I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

Is this early enough for you?
Yet again, I've woken up with hayfever!
Just waiting for the antihistamines to kick in....*sniff/sneeze
I had a very rewarding day yesterday...managed to help clear and pack my friend's garage ready for her house move next month.
I now need a few rewarding days here....in the veg plot!
I was however given her unwanted strawberry planter and a few garden tools which was really brill
Now I just need to try and find a group of muscles which don't ache!
What are you all up to today?...have a goodun whatever you do!"Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple

Sunny/cloudy here.
Great gifts for the helping hands Nicos
I will be working with OH but need to get in garden and trim lawn edges and start weeding , this weather has sent them into overdrive, il have more weeds than flowers and plants shortly
Also need a greenhouse /windowsill shuffle ready for more seed sowing, best not put anything more out for the moment with temps dropping. It's just 10deg this morning, havnt checked GH for its temp yet.
Hope you all have a productive /pleasing dayNorthern England.

Grey again here and rain threatens... Getting a bit tedious now.
Anyway, another busy day of work ahead and then I might take a couple of days off to see if I can get some plants out in the veg patch at long last. Got some Compass bean seeds yesterday from Dobies in the post. They look tiny - does that mean the beans will be very fine and delicious or barely worth the work? Either way, I'm keen to get some going. More rain will put the kibosh on that, so I'm going to see if I can keep it away by pure willpower.
Here's willing you all have a good day.

Morning all
Another lovely but windy day.
If I get everything done that I want to (I will be very surprised), my veggie garden should be nearly fully planted up. Tunnels will only have tunnel stuff in them, hardening off benches will have spaces. And sun flowers will be planted
Have a good day everyone

You are making me feel jealous SP I'm cutting down this year on the "big digging" stuff. Ive only a few spuds and I'm not doing carrots, parsnips or onions, ...I have t even sown any kales or runners yet. Trying to focus on my garden rather than the veg patch this year..garden is looking very neglected.
Covered in bites though today, I love gardening after its raining but it's brings out all the flies.
Wet, grey and windy here. Boys have gone off to school but the coffee is on if any one fancies a cup?

Morning chaps.
After 2 days of rain, it's SUNNY! And looking out on my balcony, my tomato plants have grown amazingly in 2 days!
Gave done spare Tom plants to neighbour last night, with instructions! Me who hadn't never grown a tomato plant until a couple of years ago!, how funny,
Have a super dayDottyR

Morning all!!
A beautiful sunny start! Wellies were still the choice of footwear though traipsing over the extremely muddy fields ...
So, thanks for sharing with us Scotland! And hope VC has managed to grab a few rays too!
Weeds, grass etc all gone into overdrive - but they're going to have to keep annoying me until the weekend as off to work now ...
Have a good Thursday all!~~~ Gardening is medicine that does not need
a prescription ... And with no limit on dosage.
