Morning!

Was out early this morning again for another medical app. This has just been a week of everyone including the dog needing some sort of care. TGIF!

Ground is soaking but sun is trying really hard to come out so I may do my 'sun encouragement dance' whilst hoovering the living room just to let it know I'm on it's side.

My grow lamp thingies are arriving today. #excited.

I'm going to build my pipe frame (to hang the lights from) thing soon so by tonight seeds will be in their new germination quarters hopefully.

Morning all'n'all from a bright but cool Nestland, have just nipped down t't plot to tek some piccies for Marb. Took delivery of a mains adapter this morning which may sound great...............I've not received the bladdy machine yet........................anyways, hope you all have a good Friday, especially you workers.

Morning all, and the sun is out and its dry. After a busy week I have a day free of any appointments so I hope to get some more gardening related jobs done today.

Morning all,nippy but dry here,had the wheel chair out for a spin yesterday,got MR some suitable foot ware,what an experience it was,bloody footpaths and curb drops are disgusting,as is M&S doorway,not adult chair friendly at all,it was a fight all the way to keep the damn thing in a straight line,good job he got a lap belt on,nearly tipped him out twice,and headed towards the road a few times,as luck had it,a person he knew pushed him a way for me,NOW we have had a go,we can see why mobility scooters risk the busy road,things are still progressing,next week hope to be shown how to get in and out the car,then boy oh boy,will that be great,lottie and shopping,here we come,good luck to those with new gadgets arriving,have fun and a good all

Bad night last night for me too!
We should have had a party!

Had to take the Disco in this morning...the water pump had gone and it needed new belts etc.
Trying out a new guy who has recently retired and set up his own business.
His face lit up when he saw what it was....says you can at least see where things are in these old cars.
I think she's about 18 yrs old and rusting away nicely thankyou!

Not much else planned for the day so hopefully gardening will take priority over most things if the rain holds off.

Well done lottie, you did well and I'm sure your OH will be grateful being able to get out and about!

Nothing planned for today or tomorrow Nicos but our daughter is coming up from Cheltenham (she has a meeting in Glasgow on Monday so we are cheaper than a hotel plus she gets driven about everywhere!) so really looking forward to seeing her. Her and SiL are just back from a driving holiday in Italy so looking forward to hearing their stories.

That would never happen GG ,my shoulder is a bit sore to day,you have to give these things a try,,he did like it,saw things he not seen for several weeks,plus peeps he knows,that is once they realized it WAS him sitting in the chair.

It really is a problem this mobility lark - I experienced much the same problems as you, when trying to manoeuvre Mum/wheelchair - and it's surprising just how heavy a frail old lady can be!!!
Not enough thought/attention goes into wheelchair access in some places, 'though saying that, others are marvellous. Think things on that front are improving, somewhat, but still a long way to go ...

So, best wishes, and don't overdo it, gal!
