Morning all. Not in the best tune today for some reason. The weather has been awful for days now so maybe it's just that.

Not sure what today holds tbh, see how I feel after yet another cuppa.

Good morning all and we have a lovely sunny start to the day.We got all the rain yesterday and last night, I even put the heating on in some parts of the house, it felt so old.
Nothing in particular that must be done, but plenty to do all the same.
All the birthdays, anniversarys and conformations are now over so we are getting back to normal.
April and May in our family is crazy, but its done now.

Morning Earlybirds'n'all from a wet but mild Nestland, don't think I'll be doing much outdoors today. New label printer has just arrived so I guess I may have a play with that, after all I do have over 120 SFG beds that could do with marking up...............Have a lovely weekend all you workers...........everyone else?.........everyday's a weekend............

Dry here after load of rain overnight , I think it's meant to be showery though. Having a lazy day for once , may get spuds in if it stays dry and maybe some seeds sown.
OH is starting his new hobby which I foolishly encouraged him into ..train sets! Oh my it could end up a monster

it's really carp here. The lady of the house has been so busy gardening this week that she forgot the kettle blew up coffee made with water boiled in a sosspan is disgusting!

Weather Watch for Heavy Thunderstorms

A low risk of severe thunderstorms brushing the far Southeast corner of the UK later this afternoon and into this evening.

The main threat is across France later this afternoon, however models are still struggling with where the storms will develop and upper air data shows that they are likely to merge into lines as they head Northeast with large hail and strong wind gusts around the edges, especially where squall lines develop.

We will update/remove this watch later this afternoon once the storms have developed.

Afternoon all. Thrashing it down here - so glad I did my allotment gardening yesterday. I may get some 'potting shed' work done later (although in danger of getting washed away just going out to the garage). I have been reduced to doing housework Yes I know, shocking isn't it?

So I have transferred all the vinyl LP's from under the spare bed up to the loft. I have been putting it off for ages, but now it is done. And jolly hot work it was too - a bit like the Stairmaster at the gym only far more purposeful. Bedrooms hoovered, bathrooms cleaned, dining room cleaned and polished. The only room left to do is the conservatory, and that is full of plants at the moment, so when they are moved later, I'll have a go in there. Now going to reward myself with a cup of coffee and a game of online Scrabble Enjoy your day, however you spend it.

Morning all, it poured most of yesterday and all last night but the sun has just popped it's head out from the clouds. It is warm though! Had a better nights sleep last night, only awake a couple of times, so feeling good today. Harry dog had his visit to the groomer on Thursday but loves just standing in the wind and rain...complete waste of money. Was hoping to have him clean and not curly for a wee while longer than two days! As my OH says 'he's happy'.
Was going to go to the supermarket yesterday but OH said to leave it and he would come with me today Where is he at this very minute? In bed!!!
Anyhoo hope you all have a lovely day whatever you are doing and whatever the weather.
