Afternoon
Lovely walk had through the sunshiny forests, brunched , bread machine is on, slow cooker is on. Relax time with a coffee.
It's gone pretty blustery out there, blowing my pots over again
Bee ...I'm not telling him that, be dragging me there.
We were in houghton hall yesterday looking at the layout thereNorthern England.

Taking a break from tax returns (I've decided not to leave them til the last minute this year). Nice glass of wine and an old film in the background. I'm sure there was a very young Pete Murray in the opening credits.
BB - You feed your cat wallpaper, eek!
Trip - I love zombies. My late other half used to make them for me. He was the cocktail King. I no longer keep the ingredients in the house and the nearest place that makes them isn't on a bus route. I can't drink one and get home.
Jay - My 2 desperately need grooming. Hollie is turning into Rastafarian dog. I haven't had a reliable car since mine was written off in Feb. So I can't get them there. There is a 3 month waiting list for the mobile groomer.
I haven't yet worked out how to use my new digital boiler and the house is cold. I'd probably be ok if I wasn't sat down working (drinking). I managed to turn the heating off but I'm not sure how to turn it on again so I've resurrected an electric radiator from before the heating was put in."I prefer rogues to imbeciles as they sometimes take a rest" (Alexander Dumas)

Susie, you may want to get those LP's back down again, don't you know they are back in fashion! Vinyl is all the rage these days!

GRRRRRRRR! 2nd time this week hubby has "accidentally" locked me out of the house while I've been out in the PT. I felt like a real idiot hammering on the front door to be let in while smeared in compost with straggly hair and very unflattering gardening gear on. If looks could kill when he finally dragged himself away from the sport to let me in .... He had the good grace to apologize very quickly and look guilty at least.
Apart from that blip, had a great day so far pottering. Spent a while de-tangling mange tout still in their pots and fussing over the other containers. Blowing a gale out there. Luckily got a great tip from this forum on using washing line to hold PT cover down - we threw 3 lengths over the width of PT and tied it to the base. It really works a treat so was able to work happily in PT without feeling like the cover might suddenly take off in wind.
1Bee, you have my sympathies. Parenting can be super tiring. Mr Tumble would work well for kids and what about Mr Bloom as well for a bit of eye candy LOLLOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.

I do like a bit of Mr Bloom and his tool belt...
Thanks Jay. They're both asleep on me right now after a horrendous morning. Sleeping children always remind you why you'd sell your soul for them.
Dragged them to the GC this morning for canes having slightly accidentally sown 50 French beans yesterday. ...
