Craftymarie, bet your puss has caught dozens of them in her feline dreams ... They do make some funny little faces and noises - my puss used to 'click' at the birdies ....

Enjoy your 'in bed' cuppa and digestive (Dad used to call them Welsh biscuits ....'Dai Gestives ...!) you lucky, lucky thing! Can't remember the last time I had a cuppa bought to me in bed - though it's my own fault, I never stay there long enough - I'm awake - I'm up!!
DH always knows when I'm not well, as that's the only time I'll ever linger in bed!

The military operation starts today. I've got a week and a half to get the garden and house ready for my next trip to Rhyl. Lots of pressure on this one as I will be bringing friends back with me . Other half will be threatened later in the week to keep it all tidy.
So I may not be in much for a while .

Dry and no gales this morning , currently have the impatient face of a dog also ..and sighs.
OH off to his mothers , think they will have a bite to eat out, I'm being dropped at my parents with olive dog as going to plant up some stuff for mum..potatoes, toms. Will take her some runners and dwarf beans I think , they can sit in her greenhouse til she sorts which pots for planting them up, il take her a shooting star courgette too, pot of oregano ...whatever else I find ready. Their granddaughter (my niece) is going to see them too..and may have her 2yr old daft spaniel Ernie there , dad with his dementia loves seeing the dogs ..it could be chaos !
First though. Dog walk..

Morning the suns shinning so a good day to wash my GH then I can get my toms planted in the border they're far to heavy to keep carrying in and out of the house.

Morning all - lovely morning! The sky is blue, the sun is shining, little or no breeze. What on earth is going on? Deluge yesterday - thought I was going to have to start collecting pairs of animals from around the estate! I managed to plant some asparagus peas yesterday and transfer tomatoes and cucumbers for sale to my Car Booting neighbour. That was it, gardenwise.

Today I have an allotment committee this morning; good job I just wrote that as it has reminded me to put the laptop on charge FiL is coming for his supper this evening. He will be having rhubarb and ginger crumble with fresh rudebarb! And a Chinese Pork Casserole for mains. Not going to give the poor man just a pudding, although he would not complain.

I want to get the greenhouse sorted out for the cucumbers - they are starting to flower and need putting into their final position. I now have some FYM (a birthday present ...yes, my family are exceptionally generous, I have a farming connection so my nephew thought it hilarious that he could say that he had literally given me sh*t for my birthday!) to put in the bottom of my cucumber containers. Enjoy your day.

It doesn't look toobad here either after yesterday's rain. I came back from yesterday's nursery trip with my friedd, my little fiesta crammed to the roof. I'm supporting a local family business good plants too. Got a few fox gloves, penstemons, phlox, a couple of cosmos, Hmm and about 20 other things - yes I know I could have grown them from seed but you can't do it all.

Right, I need to make a move or I'll never get it all done.
